Just one last post...

I like this.

Okay, bye!

CHÂTEAU-CHINON

It may not look like much, but it's probably the hardest tessellation I've done so far.

"Château-Chinon" by Christiane Bettens
Inspired by the architectural tilling seen in the French city Château-Chinon.

CUBISM DREAM

Eric Djerde's "Square Weave".

After all the geometric forms that have been explored,
I can't forget the square!

XL SCALE: PT 2

The final result of my large scale project...
A 22'' x 44'' piece of paper transformed.
When flattened, it's about 12'' in diameter.

Voila: A giant origami magic ball.

THIS IS LARGE SCALE

RHOMBUS!

Sure triangles are in, but what about rhombi?

In geometry, a rhombus or rhomb is a quadrilateral
whose four sides all have the same length.

Rhombus, parallelogram, diamond, lozenge.

COOL BLUES

Meenakshi Mukerji's "Waves" model.

Kind of a different model then I'm used to.
I may go back and glue the modules together.
If cheating is what it takes so it doesn't fall apart, then why not?

SIMPLE GEOMETRY

In geometry, an icosidodecahedron is a polyhedron
with twenty triangular faces and twelve pentagonal faces.

XL SCALE: PT I

I've been meaning to do this for a while...
Something LARGE SCALE.

This sheet of paper is 22'' x 44''

What am I going to make with it?
I would post it all, but my camera's SD card just broke!
So this is all you get to see: some process.

Stay tuned for the end result.
Oohh, suspense.

THIS HAD POTENTIAL

But the modules didn't fit together too well.
And the paper I used wasn't right at all.

Oh well, here's my attempt at a "Rhombic Triacontahedron":

From Nick Robinson's Rhombic Unit.
It should have looked like this. Grr.

OVERLOAD

Now that I've gotten THIS out of my system...

I have gotten most of the paper projects done that I wanted to
work on during the school year but couldn't.
Now... I'm on the hunt for new projects.
Send me cool paper stuff if you see any!
